MindSpin
MindSpin is a dynamic and energetic brainstorming method that encourages individual and group contributions. Participants generate a wide range of ideas quickly by writing them on index cards and physically engaging with the process through a 'slam' technique.
Cómo ejecutarlo
- 1
Divide participants into teams of 3 to 5 and seat them at separate tables.
- 2
Place a stack of index cards in the center of each table and display the brainstorming topic on a whiteboard or slide.
- 3
Give each participant 5 blank index cards and explain that they will write one idea per card during the session.
- 4
Set two five-minute rounds for participants to write as many ideas as possible and slam the cards down face down to their right after each entry.
- 5
If a participant runs out of ideas, they can take a card from the person on their left to inspire new thoughts.
- 6
Participants can either slam the borrowed card, use it to spark their own idea, or add a comment before slamming it down.
- 7
Repeat the rounds until the time is up, then review and discuss the collected ideas.
Consejos
Encourage participants to be bold and think outside the box; there are no wrong answers.
Use the sound of slamming cards to create a fun and lively atmosphere.
Monitor the session to keep the energy high and to ensure participants are fully engaged.
Variaciones
You can adjust the number of rounds or the time limit based on the group's size and energy levels. Alternatively, use digital tools for remote teams to share and brainstorm ideas.
