Context Map

The Context Map helps visualize the external factors influencing an organization. It's a collaborative tool for identifying trends, political and economic factors, technology impacts, customer needs, and uncertainties, providing a comprehensive view of the organizational landscape.

Cómo ejecutarlo

    Prepare six sheets of flip-chart paper in a 2x3 layout on a wall.

    On the center top sheet, depict your organization and label it clearly.

    Label the areas around your organization with 'POLITICAL FACTORS' and 'ECONOMIC CLIMATE'.

    On the top-left sheet, draw arrows pointing right and label it as 'TRENDS', leaving space for a qualifier.

  5. 5

    On the top-right sheet, draw arrows pointing left, also labeling it 'TRENDS', with space for a qualifier.

  6. 6

    Position the bottom-left sheet for 'TECHNOLOGY FACTORS' and draw arrows pointing up and to the right.

  7. 7

    For 'CUSTOMER NEEDS', depict your clients on the center bottom sheet.

  8. 8

    On the bottom-right, represent 'UNCERTAINTIES' with visuals like a thundercloud or question mark.
