    Inform the group that they will gather insights from people outside the room to aid their current project.

    Ask each participant to identify a contact who can provide relevant feedback.

    Select a focus question related to the project, guiding the outside conversations.

    Examples of focus questions include: 'What challenges do you face in our industry?' for strategy or 'What annoys you about your daily commute?' for product development.

    Participants will make quick calls to their selected contacts to discuss the focus question.

  6. 6

    After conversations, reconvene and share the insights gained with the group.
