- 1
Gather the team around a flipchart or whiteboard and provide each person with pens and post-its.
- 2
If the group has more than 10 participants, split them into smaller sub-groups and later discuss their findings together.
- 3
Draw one of the following visuals on the flipchart: a boat with a sail and anchor, a wheel divided into five sections, or three columns labeled 'mad', 'sad', and 'glad'.
- 4
Ask participants to individually and silently add post-its to the visual for each category, allowing 5-10 minutes.
- 5
Instruct them to cluster similar notes, identifying duplicates and patterns.
- 6
Facilitate a discussion about the organized notes to explore insights and actionable steps.
