Appreciations Exercise

Participants reflect on their strengths through feedback from peers, helping to boost motivation and self-esteem. This exercise creates a positive atmosphere, especially effective at the end of a workshop.

    Gather participants in a close circle, including facilitators.

    Explain the importance of sharing strengths and positive feedback.

    Provide each participant with a sheet of paper and have them write their name at the bottom.

    Instruct participants to pass the paper to the left.

  5. 5

    Ask each person to write a positive comment about the individual whose name is on the paper, then fold it to cover the comment.

    Continue passing papers until everyone receives their original sheet.

  7. 7

    Conclude by allowing participants to read the feedback they received.
