Quick Change
This opening activity engages participants in recognizing change by making quick, personal modifications. It connects the theme of change to personal experience, making the topic more relatable.
How to run it
- 1
Pair participants up and have them stand back to back.
- 2
Designate one partner as 'A' and the other as 'B'.
- 3
Instruct partner 'A' to change 5 things about themselves in the next 60 seconds without letting partner 'B' see.
- 4
After the minute, have the partners face each other.
- 5
Partner 'B' attempts to guess the 5 changes made by partner 'A' within 60 seconds.
- 6
Announce when time is up, congratulate everyone, and instruct them to return to the back-to-back position.
- 7
Now, partner 'A' will make 5 more changes about themselves in another 60 seconds.
